Here’s the revised version with the 70 pages of imagery highlighted as part of its value:
The Weight & the Witness — Exhibition Catalogue
The Weight & the Witness documents Hopeton S. Hibbert’s 2026 solo exhibition at Chastain Arts Center in Atlanta, bringing together sculpture, photography, and mixed-media works exploring labor, memory, identity, and internal perception.
Featuring 70 pages of rich imagery, the catalogue offers an immersive visual journey through the exhibition, including works from the ongoing Ode to John Henry series and Hibbert’s photographic investigations into Double Consciousness. Together, the works trace a dialogue between the physical weight we carry and the quieter ways we witness ourselves.
More than a record of the exhibition, The Weight & the Witness is a collectible art book offering an intimate look into Hibbert’s multidisciplinary practice—where salvaged materials, cultural history, photography, and personal reflection converge.
